Terms of Service

The agreement between you and Tevyr when you use our presentation timer platform.

By accessing or using Tevyr (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

01 / Account Registration

Account Registration

  • You must be at least 18 years old (or have parental/guardian consent) to create an account.
  • You may only create one account per person.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
02 / Subscription Plans & Pricing

Subscription Plans & Pricing

Tevyr offers the following subscription tiers:

  • Starter (Free) — 3 live connections, limited features
  • Basic — 10–25 live connections, core features
  • Premium — 50–300 live connections, advanced features including iFrame overlays, sponsor walls, and QR codes
  • Enterprise — 300–500 live connections, all features included

Prices are listed on our Pricing page and are subject to change with at least 30 days' prior notice. All prices are exclusive of applicable taxes.

03 / Billing & Payments

Billing & Payments

  • All payments are processed by Paddle.com, which acts as the Merchant of Record for all transactions.
  • Paddle handles tax calculation, collection, invoicing, and payment processing on our behalf.
  • By subscribing, you also agree to Paddle's Terms of Service.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) unless cancelled.
  • You authorize Paddle to charge your payment method on file for recurring subscription fees.
04 / Upgrades

Upgrades

  • Plan upgrades (higher tier, more connections, or monthly-to-yearly switch) take effect immediately.
  • A prorated charge for the remaining billing period will be applied to your payment method.
  • You gain instant access to the upgraded plan's features and limits.
05 / Downgrades

Downgrades

  • Plan downgrades (lower tier, fewer connections, or yearly-to-monthly switch) take effect at the end of your current billing period.
  • You retain full access to your current plan's features until the billing period expires.
  • No prorated refund or credit will be issued for the remaining time on your current plan.
  • After the billing period ends, your plan will automatically switch to the selected lower tier.
06 / Cancellation

Cancellation

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing page in your dashboard.
  • Upon cancellation, your paid plan remains active until the end of your current billing period.
  • After the billing period ends, your account will revert to the Starter (Free) plan.
  • No refund will be issued for the unused portion of your billing period.
07 / Refund Policy

Refund Policy

  • No refunds are provided for partial billing periods, downgrades, or cancellations.
  • Exceptions may be made for verified billing errors or extended service outages (more than 24 consecutive hours).
  • Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the charge in question.
  • To request a refund, contact our support team at support@tevyr.com.
09 / Acceptable Use

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Display illegal, harmful, or offensive content on presentation screens.
  • Attempt to circumvent plan limits, connection restrictions, or feature gates.
  • Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access the Service.
  • Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the Service.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice.

10 / Intellectual Property

Intellectual Property

  • Your content (events, sessions, messages, images, teleprompter scripts) remains your property.
  • You grant Tevyr a limited license to display, store, and transmit your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
  • The Tevyr platform, including its code, design, branding, and documentation, is owned by Tevyr and protected by intellectual property laws.
11 / Service Availability

Service Availability

  • The Service is provided on a “best effort” basis. We do not guarantee 100% uptime.
  • Planned maintenance will be communicated in advance when possible.
  • We are not liable for outages caused by third-party services (payment processors, hosting providers, content delivery networks).
12 / Limitation of Liability

Limitation of Liability

  • The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
  • Tevyr is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
  • Our maximum aggregate liability is limited to the total amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
13 / Changes to These Terms

Changes to These Terms

  • We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 30 days in advance.
  • Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
  • If you do not agree with the changes, you may cancel your subscription before the changes take effect.
