Screen Outputs

Screen outputs are display-only pages designed to be shown on confidence monitors, projectors, TVs, LED walls, tablets, and any other screen around your venue. They show countdown timers, messages, session information, and more — all synchronized in real time with your controller. Whether you're running a conference, a live broadcast, a concert, or a company meeting, these screens keep everyone informed.

Speaker

The Speaker screen is a confidence monitor — a display placed where only the speaker can see it, showing their remaining time and any private messages from the operator. Think of it as the speaker's personal countdown clock.

Best forSpeakers, presenters, panelists — anyone on stage who needs to track their time
Where to place itFloor monitor at the base of the stage, laptop on the lectern, or a teleprompter screen
What it showsCountdown timer (with Time Warp if enabled), session title and speaker name, speaker-only messages, teleprompter script, current time of day, and a progress bar
Teleprompter setup:

If your speaker screen is reflected off teleprompter glass, use the Mirror link option to flip the display horizontally so the text reads correctly.

Audience

The Audience screen is a public-facing display for everyone in the room. It shows the countdown timer, session information, and any messages the operator wants the audience to see.

Best forEvent attendees, live stream viewers, anyone watching the presentation
Where to place itLarge venue screens, projectors, side-stage displays showing close-ups of the speaker, or live stream overlays
What it showsCountdown timer, session title and speaker name, audience-targeted messages, current time of day, and progress bar
Message targeting:

Audience screens only show messages addressed to "audience." If you send a private message to the speaker (like "2 minutes left"), it will not appear on audience screens.

Staff

The Staff screen is a backstage display for your crew. It shows the same timer and session information as other screens, plus internal messages meant only for your team — like "Prepare next speaker" or "Lights cue in 30 seconds."

Best forStage managers, AV technicians, lighting operators, backstage crew
Where to place itBackstage monitors, tech booth screens, green room displays
What it showsCountdown timer, session information, staff-only messages, current time of day, and progress bar

Staff screens only receive messages addressed to "staff." Neither the audience nor the speaker will see these messages — perfect for sending internal cues during the show.

Per-Screen Feature Differences

While all three screens share core capabilities (timer, messages, effects), some features are exclusive to specific screen types:

Agenda

The Agenda screen shows your full event schedule as a list, with times, speaker names, and a visual highlight on whichever session is currently running. It automatically scrolls to keep the active session in view.

Features Shared by All Screens

Every screen output includes these capabilities out of the box:

  • Real-time sync — When you start, pause, or reset a timer, every connected screen updates instantly. No delays, no refresh needed.
  • Blackout — Instantly blank any screen with a single click. Blackout can show a solid color, a custom image (like a "We'll be right back" slide), or just the current time of day.
  • Flash — Flash all screens three times to visually grab the speaker's attention — for example, when their time is almost up.
  • Fully customizable — Change the background, text colors, fonts, timer styling, and aspect ratio for each link independently. Match your event's branding or venue setup.
  • Password protection — Add a password to any screen link so only authorized people can view it.
